
Day 01: Arrive Paro – Thimphu (85Kms / 02 ½Hrs)
Traditionally welcome you at Paro airport by our airport representative and assisted transfer to Thimphu. On arrival in Thimphu, check in at the hotel.
Afternoon is free for rest and leisure. Stay overnight in Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Thimphu and visit the Memorial Chorten and the School of Arts & Crafts, The 169-feet bronze statue of Buddha Dordenma. The Vajra Throne Buddha, symbolizing indestructibility. Later visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Stay overnight in Thimphu.
Day 03: Thimphu – Punakha (85Kms / 02 ½Hrs)
After breakfast, we will drive to Punakha, an approximate 2hrs.30 mins the ex-capital of Bhutan to have a glimpse of the Punakha Dzong and the first buil Shabdrung in 1637. On the way visit take a stop at Metshina Village with short walk through the lush rice fields towards Chhimi Lhakhang, a fertility temple. Reach Punakha and check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day04: Punakha – Trongsa (140Kms / 04 ½Hrs)
After an early breakfast, drive down to Trongsa en route vist the view of Wangdiphodrang valley. Later visit to Wangdiphodrang Dzong was built in 1638. This Dzong is situated at the meeting pointof Mo Chu and Tang Chu rivers. Later continue drive little more to cross over the Pelela Pass at an altitude of 3250 meters and visit the Chendebji Chorten, a tall Stupa patterned after the Swayambhunath in Kathmandu, Nepal and built in the 19th century by Lama Shida, to hide the remains of an evil spirit eliminated. Arrive Trongsa and check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Trongsa – Bumthang (80Kms / 03Hrs)
After breakfast visit the Trongsa Dzong, the most emphatic dzong in Bhutan, built by Chogyal Minjur Tempa, the emissary sent by Shabdrung to appease eastern Bhutan and drive to Bumthang via Yongtala & Kilakha passes. Arrive Bumthang, check in at the hotel and visit Bhutanese Carpet Factory, the Jakar Dzong Lamey Goemba, Jambay Lhakhang, In the month of October, the colorful festival, 'Jambay Lhakhang Drup' unfolds at this very temple. Evening is for shopping Stay two nights at the hotel in Bumthang.
Day 06: Bumthang Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Chakhar (Iron Castle) Lhakhang, it is the site of the palace of the Indian King, the Sindhu Raja who invited Guru Rimpoche to Bumthang. The Original palace was made of Iron and hence the name Chakhar. The saint DorjiLingpa built the Current building in 14th century. Also visit Kurjey Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang (Temple of the good message). In the evening, visit Membarstho which literally means, "The burning Lake". Stay overnight at the hotel in Bumthang.
Day 07: Bumthang – Gangtey – Wangdue (120Kms / 08 ½Hrs)
After an early breakfast, drive to Wangdiphodrang via Gangtey. En route visit Ganmgtey one of the most beautiful glacial valleys of the Himalayas. Visit Gangtey Gompa from outside and explore Phobjikha valley, famous for the Black Necked Cranes during winter. Arrive Wangdue, check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Wangdue – Thimphu – Paro (122Kms / 04 ½Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu to visit Simthokha Dzong, the oldest Dzong in Bhutan and continue drive to Paro. Arrive Paro, check in at the hotel for two night stay.
Day 09: Paro - Taktashang - Paro
Today after breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the Taksang Monastery, located on a sheer vertical cliff at an altitude of 800m, it defies all engineering logic. Climb for about 2-3 hours to reach monastery to set the pace for adventure. Return Paro and evening is free for leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Paro.
Day 10: Paro Departure
On final day after breakfast assisted transfer to the airport to board your flight for an onward journey.
